Windows NT comes with built-in routing capability that can be configured to share your Internet connection without 3rd party software.   Ezine seems to have some helpful information posted on this and other NT related topics.

PLEASE NOTE! You can use NT's routing capability without other software ONLY if you have your ISP route a Class C subnet to you.  This is described pretty well here in the Ezine article.   There will probably be an extra charge for this and you will probably have to purchase 254 address (an entire Class C subnet).

Once you've registered at the Microsoft Support site, you can also access article Q140859 in the Knowledge Base to learn about TCP/IP routing basics.

If you have plenty of money, Microsoft will also sell you Proxy Server or any other of their Internet server products, but you'll need NT Server (not Workstation) to run them. 

If this all sounds like too much hassle (or too expensive), you can always use any of the other solutions that run on Win9X i.e., Wingate, Sygate, etc. (These will run fine on NT Workstation!)
